Mission / Vision Our objective is to live lives that please God by making disciples that follow after Jesus Christ. The TBC ministry to young adult singles is designed to challenge them to live passionately for the Gospel through discipleship training, ministry opportunities and other activities resulting in an outpouring of their faith to unbelievers and making of new disciples. A Doulos of Christ is emptied of self, and walks in deep humility before the Lord, faithfully obeying Him to the point of suffering hardship, humiliation and even death if required. (Phil 2:5-8; Luke 1:38) 2. A Doulos of Christ has a deep and genuine concern for the welfare of others. (Phil 2:20-21; Col 4:12-13) 3. A Doulos of Christ seeks to encourage, comfort and strengthen others. (Col 4:7-8) 4. A Doulos of Christ strives to do the will of his master, and please Him only, and has abandoned seeking after the praise of men. (Gal 1:10; 2 Cor 5:9) 5. A Doulos of Christ does not promote or exalt self but promotes and exalts Christ as Lord of all, and views self as a bond-slave of others to fulfill the call of Christ. (2 Cor 4:5) 6. A Doulos of Christ is not quarrelsome, but kind to all, and able to teach, patient when wronged, gently correcting those who are in opposition. (2 Tim 2:24-25) 7. A Doulos of Christ sees his/her life of service as a grateful, dutiful, and loving response to God and not something for which he/she expects to be thanked by his Master, but rather rewarded for his/her faithfulness. (Luke 17:7-10; Rom 12:1-2; Eph 6:5-8)
Growth Opportunities The Doulos Ministry has many ministries strategically designed to nurture spiritual growth.
1. Biblical Teaching – Our teachers believe and teach practical application of God’s word each Sunday. We are currently studying the book of Luke.
2. Training in evangelism with outreach events and opportunities

4. Accountability Groups – These small group studies enhance personal development and growth in Biblical knowledge and understanding.

Service Projects The Singles of TBC are active in Outreach ministries, striving to share Christ and fulfill His great commission. 1. TU Outreach – every Tuesday night during the semester 2. Fellowship Activities Our singles participate in many different fellowship oriented activities. These activities focus on being a testimony for Christ through building relationships, having fun, and demonstrating Godly character. A sample of what we do is listed below. Sunday Schedule Sunday School – 9:00 to 9:45 a.m.
