Welcome! Our flock elder is Dr. Tim Moore who, together with his wife of 50+ years Patricia, leads the flock. Dr. Tim shares the responsibility of teaching with class members Dr. Kent Shacklett and Leo Burgard, formerly a missionary to Papua, New Guinea.
Typical Sunday mornings begin with coffee and conversation 8:45-9 a.m. Praises and prayer requests are presented to the class 9-9:10 a.m. The lesson is typically taught in lecture format followed by a question/answer/discussion session 9:10-9:45 a.m.
“Ya’ll come!“ The MAC Flock invites visitors to drop by any Sunday morning, Room M109, 8:45 a.m. We hold to II Timothy 3:16-17…”All scripture is inspired by God and profitable for teaching, for reproof, for correction, for training in righteousness; that the man of God may be adequate, equipped for every good work.” (NAS)
The class has a rotating class leader each month and a system of caring couples who “take care of” 4 or 5 other flock members or couples for a year at a time. Caring couples are responsible for monthly contacts and gathering information regarding specific needs so that the flock might better serve its members. Social chairmen plan flock gatherings throughout the year.
