Timothy Flock

   The Timothy Flock is a group of 40 plus families that range in age from the mid-thirties to mid-fifties. Most of our families have children that range from infants to high school age. Jim Stubbs, assisted by his wife Leslie, is the shepherding elder over the flock. We have many others who are involved and serving including a group of dedicated teachers, music leaders, caring couples, social coordinators and coffee/snack coordinators. It is a real encouragement to see how many in our flock serve in key ministries in the church. We have numerous deacons, Sunday School teachers, nursery workers, EE trainers, FOF leaders and more. On any given Sunday we will have 40+ people in class because many of our flock are serving elsewhere in a sacrificial manner.

What We Teach
   In the Timothy Flock we strive for an interactive style of teaching that allows ample time for questions and discussion. Our teaching is delivered by a team of men who rotate frequently to provide variety. We teach from God’s Word in a topical format addressing the needs and concerns of growing families. The smaller class size fosters a relaxed atmosphere in which people can share their hopes and challenges.

   We also devote one complete class every other month to a time of sharing and prayer in small groups. The small group format is centered around Caring Couples who have a special ministry of compassion and care. We have an ongoing prayer chain and communicate every week to the entire class the prayer concerns that have been raised.
