Jr. High

What’s Happening in Junior High?

SUNDAY
Sunday School – 8:45 a.m. to 9:45 a.m.
Each Sunday junior high students (grades 7-8) gather for fellowship, Bible study, and small group discussion.  On the fourth Sunday of each month junior high and senior high students combine to form one class for joint singing, teaching, and mutual encouragement.  Classes are located in the basement of the Family Life Center.

Small Groups – 9:30 a.m. to 9:45 a.m.
Led by adult volunteers, Small Groups provide a unique opportunity for spiritual encouragement where students can digest and discuss what they are learning.  Junior high small groups meet in the basement of the Family Life Center immediately following the Sunday School lesson.

Youth Choir – 5:00 p.m. to 5:50 p.m.
Music and singing are important parts of student life at Tulsa Bible Church.  The Youth Choir meets during the academic year (September – May).  Students learn a variety of musical styles and minister regularly to the body.  Youth Choir meets in the Choir Room located downstairs below the auditorium.  All students, grades 7 through 12, are welcome.

JHAC (Junior High After Church)
On the fourth Sunday evening of each month from 7:30 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. junior high students gather for a time of fun and fellowship.  This is a great time to enjoy one another’s company and be encouraged in the Lord.  JHAC takes place in the Family Life Center gym.

WEDNESDAY

Trek is an AWANA program for 7th and 8th grade students designed to encourage impactful growth in the Scripture through Bible memory, teaching, and encouragement in the Lord by peers and leaders.  Trek meets during the academic year on Wednesdays at 6:45 p.m.  For more information follow the AWANA link under the Ministries tab of our website.
