Our mission of “Pleasing God and Making Disciples” begins even with the smallest members of this congregation. In everything we do, from nursery through sixth grade, our desire is to bring children to a saving knowledge of the Lord Jesus Christ. Our priority is to teach the Bible, and through that teaching, to see our children develop their personal relationship with the Lord.
NURSERY: Infant-2 Year Olds
It’s never too soon to start teaching your children about God and His truths. We provide a safe, nurturing environment for children, designed to help even our youngest ones become aware of God’s great love for them. Our nursery theme of “Fruits of the Spirit” encourages little ones to demonstrate attitudes of love, joy, and peace. Our nursery wing is conveniently located next to the auditorium and children are grouped into classes according to age.
Infants 0-7 months — Lemon Room - RM N122
Crawlers 7-14 months — Blueberry Room – RM N126
Toddlers 14-24 months — Strawberry Room – RM N123
2 year olds — Grape Room – RM N127
Nurseries open at 8:30 for Sunday School. Children remain in their classroom until the end of the Adult Worship Service. Our paging system allows parents to relax in the knowledge that they can be contacted immediately, if a child becomes distressed.
SUNDAY SCHOOL:
Pre-school & Kindergarten (Ages 3-6):
Pre-schoolers are taken through a chronological journey through the Bible, from the wonder’s of creation to the life and ministry of Jesus Christ. Bible lessons are reinforced with crafts, songs, puppets, and play. Our pre-school & Kindergarten classes are located in the education wing. Stop by the

Primary Grades 1 – 6:
1st Grade Room E153 - Children study the book of Genesis, beginning with the 6 days of creation through God’s working in the lives of the Patriarchs.
2nd Grade Room E155 - Children learn practical lessons for living from the lives of Samuel, Saul, David, Elijah, and Elisha as they study the books of 1st Samuel through 2nd Kings.
3rd and 4th Grade Girls Room E020 and the 3rd and 4th Grade Boys Room E021 – Our boys and girls learn life lessons from the Exodus and the Gospel of Luke in a way that fits their specific needs.
5th Grade Room E156 – Using a Chapter by Chapter study of Acts and 1st Peter students learn practical ways that the Holy Spirit, who was active in the early church, can work through them.
6th Grade Room E154 – Students begin learning how to be God’s leaders through an in-depth study of Joshua and the Judges.
CHILDREN’S CHURCH (3 Yrs – 2nd Grade):
Children join their parents in the auditorium at 10:00 a.m. and participate in our family worship time. They will be dismissed at 10:30 for Children’s Church classes. Teachers use age appropriate lessons to excite children about the Lord Jesus and encourage them as they grown in their faith.
