Common Questions

What kind of Church is a Bible Church?
A Bible Church is an independent, evangelical, nondenominational body of believers, comprised of people from many different backgrounds. It is a church where God’s Word, the Bible, is the authority. It’s purpose is to reach the lost with the gospel of Jesus Christ, and to build lives on the firm foundation of the Word of God. God wants us to understand the Bible, grow spiritually and to be fruitful in Christian service.

Who can be a part of a Bible Church?
Whatever your background, wherever you are on your spiritual journey, whatever your age, however good or bad your life has been, you are invited to celebrate God’s love with us.

What is a typical Sunday service like?
A typical service is made up of blended music with an orchestra and choir that will give you the opportunity to draw close to God and prepare your heart for a relevant biblically based message. Please bring your Bible and mark the passages with notes and things to remember.

How long is the service?
Sunday morning service is one hour and 30 minutes, 10:00 am to 11:30 am.

Will you have Communion?
Believers Communion is held on the first Sunday in the morning service, and on the third Sunday evening, of every month. If Jesus Christ is your Savior, please participate with us. If you have not yet become a follower of Christ or are uncertain, just pass the elements on. Nobody will think anything about it.

What should I wear?
Feel free to wear modest comfortable clothing. Whether that means jeans, slacks, dresses, or suits, you will be in good company.

What kind of childcare is offered during your services?
Babies who have not turned three years old go to our nursery on the first floor right inside the lobby doors next to the Welcome Center. Ages 3, 4, and 5 years go to the first floor education wing rooms E142, 143, and 144.  First and second graders go to E023 in the basement. Third graders and older stay in the adult worship service.

There is also a designated room and changing table for nursing mothers in the nursery hallway.

Will I be singled out in any way as a visitor?
Not really, but we hope that you are greeted by friendly people during our greeting time. The ushers pass out information packets about our church during the announcement time and we encourage you to indicate to the usher you would like a packet. We also invite you to meet in person our pastor and leadership members by the platform after the service.

Will an offering be taken?
We ask that our guests feel no obligation to give money. We pass an offering bag as part of our service for the convenience of our members and regular attenders who financially support the ministry of Tulsa Bible Church. We want people to give to the ministry of our church as they feel God leads them to.

Where can I park?
Our parking lot extends beyond our physical campus across the street behind the shopping center. Click Parking Map for an aerial map of the parking lot.
